Deciding between a case order and a full pallet comes down to how fast your business moves through nail and spa supplies, and how much storage space you have on hand.
When a case order makes sense
Single-location salons and spas that restock every few weeks are usually best served by case orders. Cases ship via standard parcel carrier, arrive faster, and don't require dock or forklift access at your location.
When pallet ordering pays off
If you're running multiple locations, supplying other businesses, or you go through high-turnover items like acetone, buffers, or disposable liners quickly, pallet pricing lowers your per-unit cost significantly. The tradeoff is that pallets ship via freight carrier and typically require a loading dock, forklift, or liftgate truck at delivery.
A simple way to decide
Add up how many cases of a given product you reorder in a typical quarter. If that number is approaching pallet quantity, it's worth requesting a pallet quote — the savings usually outweigh the extra delivery coordination.
